What is this?

This blog began about two years ago with the goal of providing information on early Canadian punk bands.  It only lasted a few weeks.

While I may return to that subject matter, I’m resurrecting the blog today to write about cinematic, instead of musical, obscurities.

The amount of obscure cult films easily accessible for viewing today is staggering.  I can spend a few hours surfing Youtube and stumble upon all kinds of films that, when I first became interested in odd films in the early ’90s, I would have had to order on VHS for $20-$40 a pop from sleazy bootleg outfits.

So, for now, I plan to use this blog to provide a record of the wild and unusual films I’ve been watching on Youtube, before corporate control results in the inevitable purge.

“Germ Attack” is a a song by the Dayglo Abortions, first heard on their classic Out of the Womb lp, issued in 1981.
